John had come into life with all the force of a hurricane.

His lover had shown up just when Jordan had needed him most, and for that, he would always be grateful. John had put his life right again when he'd been at his lowest.

And then, they'd become lovers. He hadn't expected that when they had first met, though the spark of attraction had been there right from the beginning. Even when John had thought that he was the villain in his situation, he'd been attracted to the other man.

John had felt the same way, Jordan thought with a smile. He had seen it in those eyes, known it the first time their gazes had met. John had wanted him.

Well, now they were together, and happy with each other.

Their relationship had indeed been like a hurricane; it had happened so suddenly that Jordan had felt at first as though he couldn't catch his breath.

But he wouldn't change anything about it, Jordan thought with a smile. John had given him back his life, and not only that, he'd given him a love that he had never thought he would be able to find. John had made his life a beautiful place, one that he was happy to live in.

When they'd met, he had been at his lowest -- and he had been sure that he would never be able to lift himself out of the terrible situation that had been forced on him.

John had taken him out of that situation, made it go away. John had given him his life back, and had become an integral part of that life.

There was no way that he could adequately thank his boyfriend for all he'd done, Jordan told himself. But he would try his best, by being there for John in every way that he could, by loving John and letting him know that he was worthy of being loved, each and every day.

It seemed like so little, but Jordan knew that to John, being loved was everything. He had obviously felt that he never would be, and Jordan wanted to prove him wrong.

He wanted to show John just how important he was. How loved he was.

John had come into his life on the strength of gale force winds, taking his breath away and sweeping him up into an adventure that had been the most exciting thing he'd ever experienced.

But now, the hurricane had died down, and their lives were more settled. He knew that what John did for a living was dangerous, and that his boyfriend would never be completely settled and stable. But he loved John just as he was. He wouldn't change his lover for any reason.

The man he loved had swept into his life like a hurricane, and he still took Jordan's breath away. Jordan was sure that he always would.

And he didn't mind being in the eye of that hurricane at all.
