Summary: Response to the 24 hour prompt - you're grounded.

"Jack can I talk to you in your office for a minute?" Gwen asked.
 
Jack frowned.  Gwen was being too nice about having a chat.  Usually she just demanded to see him privately when she didn't agree with him.  He followed her into the office and she shut the door. 
 
"Okay.  What now?  Come to your senses and want to ravish me?" Jack asked. 
 
"I'm pregnant," Gwen said bluntly.
 
Jack sat back on his desk.  "Oh?"
 
"Oh?  That's all you are going to say?"
 
"No, you're grounded.  Hub duties until the baby is born.  I'll have to find someone to replace you."
 
"Replace me?  I'm having a baby, not dying!"
 
Jack just stared at her.  "You have no idea how this is going to change your life, do you?"
 
"What do you mean?"
 
"I guess we could get a nanny..."
 
"We?  What have you got to do with it?"
 
"Well, if you are bringing it to work, a lot.  You aren't thinking of leaving are you?"
 
Gwen smiled.  "Jack what do you know about taking care of a baby?"
 
"Quite a lot, actually."
 
"You're not going to tell me, are you?"
 
Jack just smiled and opened the office door.
