One mission ends and another begins, or rather, resumes.

It shouldn’t matter after everything he’s been through, but Jack would still like to know what happened during those two years the Time Agency saw fit to take from him. It’s something between obsession and curiosity and there’s absolutely no reason not to go back to trying to find out.

He’s got a strap that works and nothing holding him to down to that beautiful, heart-breaking planet, so the game is afoot and the chase is on. All he needs is a new play-mate and the Doctor is kind enough to provide one; nice and shiny with long lashes and loose limbs.

“Which way you headed,” Alonso asks, seemingly about to grab his trousers and run for the door. Instead Jack flashes the smile he saves for lovers and marks, as if there were a difference, a flashes them both into a completely different time and place.
