The no pepper rule had been bothering Ianto recently. So, that night, he left Jack's dinner out with a pepperpot and waited.

A few minutes later, the roar of Jack's Webley was followed by a crash and Jack sprinting out. 'How many more times, Ianto? No damn pepperpots, okay?'

'Why?'

Jack glanced over his shoulder. 'They make me nervous.'

'How?'

Jack stalked off. 'Remember, pepperpots want to exterminate the universe.'

Strange man, Ianto thought as he cleared up. Wonder what he meant?

The next day, there was a new target in the shooting gallery and Ianto had his answer.
