These are the stories I’ve added to the Slash Archive today:

Any money earned from any of the Amazon links and Paypal links on the site, (Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.ca), is used to help pay for the site’s url and hosting fees. Based upon AOOO  doing it’s annual fundraising for $(US)130,000 for 2019 – their finance page. I have a new page for Chance’s Archive’s links. Doctor Who:

SUMMARY: And we’re back to Doctor Who again. Mickey/Jake, natch. I did mention that I’d gotten a little obsessed during the course of this project. This one’s longer than the last, at least.

“Define ‘family'” by carolinecrane

SUMMARY: So certain of these fics were inspired by the song of the day, and this is one of those times. Though in this case it was actually the video for the song that inspired the fic. The first eighteen seconds, specifically. The song is The Fall’s fabulous cover of a Kinks classic – Victoria. The fic is Doctor Who, Mickey/Jake.

WARNINGS: Kink bingo fic #9. Warnings for tentacle porn and silliness and a little dub-con (though I think that’s sort of implied in the whole ‘tentacle porn’ genre.)
SUMMARY: Jake’s still pining for his dead boyfriend, he’s got a hopeless crush on a straight guy, and he’s being held captive by a giant alien squid. Things can only get worse.

“Everybody loses” by carolinecrane
PAIRING: Jake/Mickey
RATING: PG
SUMMARY: Jake’s POV. Inspired by Kate Nash — Merry Happy. Kate Nash always makes me think of Mickey/Jake, which makes perfect sense, at least to me. The lyrics don’t suit the fic at all, but Kate seems like the kind of girl Mickey and Jake would go drinking with, so maybe that’s why she inspires me to write them.
