"Easy there tough guy. Have some coffee with your sugar."

"I need something to wake me up."

"Ooh, late night?"

"Very."

"My man!"

"Not that kind of late night!"

If Morgan were to be honest with himself, he was quite jealous of the young agent. I mean, Reid could do whatever he wanted to do in this life, and he chose the BAU. But their conversation had made a steep decline from gentle teasing to Reid telling Morgan of his troubling nightmares. Morgan guesses that this is were his opinion of Reid had begun to evolve, and drastically. Morgan hadn't wanted to go to Gideon or Hotch, but he didn't know what else to do. Morgan had gone to them when he had experienced the same problem, and the two older and wiser agents had taken care of him. Morgan trusted them to do the same for Reid, he had basically begged them to. Thinking about Reid not being able to sleep peacefully had Morgan up at night, and the hours not spent with his eyes closed in frustration or his feet ankle deep into their present case, Morgan was thinking about him. I mean, he was Morgan's colleague, and an emerging friend, but the elder agent couldn't understand why Reid's shift in mood was affecting his own. Morgan just prayed to God to keep his head on right, for the both of them.

When Reid had found out about Morgan's discussion with Hotch and Gideon, he was furious, beyond furious. Reid shouted at the other man about how he had trusted him with his confidence, and that cut Morgan like a knife. Morgan would have never intentionally done what he had if he hadn't thought it was for Reid's benefit, and then came Morgan's own confession. Things Morgan hadn't even told his momma about, and those eyes...those eyes were just so understanding, but their moment was interrupted.

Morgan knew something was wrong, things were just falling into place too easily after that poor girls body had been found. Morgan was right, it turns out the sheriff's son had committed the crime, he had also taken Reid hostage when the other agent had stumbled back to their location, the kid couldn't catch a hint, even one that could save his life. Morgan's heart began to race rapidly, no way was Morgan going to let this little bastard kill Reid. Morgan was determined that moment that no one was going to ever kill Reid, that is unless that person was Morgan himself. And just let me take a moment to thank whoever gave Reid that large brain and babbling mouth. Without that, Morgan would have never been able to tackle that little punk to the ground. "What happened?"

"Him bringing us down here was way too much of a coincidence."

"No, I get that. Did you have to tackle me?"

"You're welcome, Reid," and even though the genius complained to Morgan like a thirteen year old girl of how he would be bruised the next day, Morgan didn't care. To be honest, Morgan was just glad to see him breathing. Glad to see as Reid smiled up at him, leafs trapped in his curly hair. It didn't occur to Morgan to stand up right away, not until backup arrived and Morgan had almost forgotten about the Unsub he was suppose to be restraining. Morgan had begun this case with one opinion about Reid, and had left with a completely different view. A terrifying view, a view he had never had about a man, hell not even a woman.

"You okay, Derek?" Derek. Sometimes he forgot that that was his first name. Curious brown eyes peer quizzically at him, lithe form sat across a muscular frame as the flew back to Quantico.

"I don't know, Spence. I think I'm just tired, is all." Spencer? Where had that come from? Damn it.

"I'm sorry I'm late."

"I hope she was worth it."

"I hope it was a she."

Morgan and Rossi's banter was not welcoming on Reid's part, but he said nothing to them about it. He was hanging off the edge, ready to slip at any moment. Reid didn't need this right now, not now. But more than that, Reid didn't need a tormented kid shooting people who had abused him throughout his entire life. Reid had to try and stay objective, he knew this, but it was obvious how he could relate to Owen, and the conversation between him and Morgan had not helped as much as he would have liked it to. In fact, it made Reid feel more alien-like than before, but he wanted to believe...believe that they shared something in common, even if it was pain and anguish that they shared, but he couldn't, and Reid didn't know if it was because of the drugs or his father leaving him at an impressionable age, or if it was just Reid himself.

Reid decided that he couldn't allow Owen to die, that if he were to allow him to be killed, Reid would somehow be killing himself. So, Reid took the risk with both his life and his career on the line, and if Reid were to be truthful, he didn't care about either in that moment. All Reid knew, all that he could digest, was that Owen was in pain, and so was he. There was no bloodshed, Owen went quietly, but Reid was not let off so easily. Morgan refused to talk to him, or even acknowledge him as they drove back to their hotel.

"I'm, I'm sorry if you're upset," Reid says, voice low and quivering as they walk equally spaced apart through the hotel's lobby and to the elevator.

"Upset? Upset, Spencer? You walked in front of an armed suspect with no weapon and limited backup. I'm a little more than upset!" Morgan's voice ricochet off of the walls, hurdling around in such a small space. Dark eyes tearing into Spencer's as the younger agent looked down to his feet, biting his bottom lip nervously.

"Sorry, I'm sorry," Spencer whispers helplessly as he bravely looks back into those eyes and reads the emotions displayed in them: anger, pain, fear, emptiness, and relief. Spencer can't decided what to make of this emotional cocktail, so he does what his body screams at him to do; wrap his arms around the other man and hold him like he had never held anyone before in his life. Derek pushes Spencer away, hands tangled tightly into his work shirt. "You could have died out there, Reid!"

"I know. Trust me, I know..."

"You could have died, and I....I would have lost you! There's no coming back from that," Morgan's voice is heavy, and the emotion in him is just pouring out, and in a desperate attempt to not lose this moment, Spencer kisses him with everything he's got.

It is not a shy, soft, or even exploring first kiss. It is, however, desperate, hot and ungodly rough. There was no fear of rejection on either part, Spencer needed Derek just as Derek needed Spencer, and they were both willing to dive in in head first. Spencer's hands slid under Derek's shirt as Derek hits the emergency stop button, alarm going off, but neither of them seem particularly bothered by the blaring noise. No, Spencer finds himself more concerned with Derek's mouth attacking the vulnerable areas of his neck, hands working on the button of his slacks, but Spencer is not just standing idly by. Large hands gripping at every inch of taught skin he can find, working efficiently to remove Morgan's shirt.

Every primal and sexual need was on fire, burning through Spencer's veins"”eating away at his very core. Derek's fingers bruise their way along Spencer's sides, lips trailing a singular path down his chest, teeth biting at various parts of his stomach and hips. Spencer couldn't think, he could hardly breath as Derek dropped down to his knees. A loud gasp escaping the genius as Derek shimmied Spencer out of his briefs, arousal obvious as the elder agent places separate, but equal kisses to both Spencer's inner thighs, and that's when things got fuzzy. The only thing Spencer could remember was Derek's mouth on him, devouring both his body and his soul. All Spencer could do was clasp hi hand above his head; biting his lip roughly between his teeth to keep himself from being too loud with limited success. Security was calling for them, but the two men didn't answer, couldn't answer. They were just too caught up in each other, and Spencer with Derek's mouth. God, his mouth! The next thing Spencer's knows, Derek's mouth is gone and his hand was in its place, coaxing Spencer through one of the most intense orgasms of his life.

Spencer and Derek don't talk for two weeks after that. It was not like Spencer was upset or anything, he was just avoiding Derek as much as Derek was avoiding him. Spencer didn't know what to make of the whole situation. Spencer was, for the first time in his very young life, baffled. Had their encounter meant anything? It had to, didn't it? There was no questioning that, no denying the emotions that drove that incident into action, but what did that mean? All the answers Spencer was able to obtain only lead to more questions, quetions more complex then the first.

Spence couldn't take it anymore. Nervously, he approached Derek after work had finished, and all of their paper work had been completed. Spencer almost didn't go through with it, he almost took the stairs like he had been for the past two weeks, but with a push of self determination he forced himself to follow the other man into the elevator. There were five other people in the elevator with them, but they had situated themselves towards the back. With the best facade of confidence Spencer could muster, he asked what he had wanted to the entire day.

"Do you want to get something to eat?" Spencer's pulse raced erratically, and his palms were beginning to sweat profusely as he awaited Derek's response to his invitation. Spencer, however, was taken aback when Derek smiled softly, looking directly at him. "Don't have a heart attack. I would love to get something to eat with you, Reid. Chinese sound good?"

"Chinese sounds great," he says, and anything would have sounded great to in that moment as long as it meant Derek was tagging along. They got their take out at the same restaurant the team ordered from when they were working overtime, which usually turned out to be all of the time. They got their meals, and within twenty minutes they were at Morgan's house. The two men ate their food in silence, satisfied just to be in the presence of one another. "You know, that girl who came in today?"

"Which one, Morgan? There was four girls who came into the office today."

"The FedEx lady."

"Yeah."

"She was flirting with you, genius."

"I know. I didn't know how to make her stop," Spencer admits bashfully, smiling as Derek's hand placed itself to rest upon his thigh, intention made very clear in his actions. Big brown eyes flutter loosely shut as Spencer tilts his head to the side, their faces mere inches apart. "I'm going to kiss you now, Reid."

"Then do it," Spencer chime, their noses brushing together as Derek places a barely there kiss to the side of Spencer's full mouth. "You call that a kiss?"

"Oh, I'm just getting started, pretty boy," and God, was that the truth.

The sofa became suddenly too small for what they were attempting to accomplish, and so they made quick work to remove themselves to the privacy Derek's bedroom. To be honest, Spencer liked the way Derek manhandled him from time to time. Practically tossing the younger male onto the silk of his sheets, and who would have figured Derek as being one to have silk sheets? Spencer hadn't, but he also didn't delve into the mater as Derek took the opportunity to strip slowly in front of him. Each teasing moment causing Spencer to become more and more turned on. Contrary to popular belief, the young doctor wasn't as virginal as people thought him to be, and he knew his way around, so when Derek produced a bottle of lube, Spencer knew the procedure. Leg's spread apart indecently, but Spencer couldn't think long enough to consider his current position. The way Derek worked deftly to prep him, Spencer knew this wasn't the other mans first time either. Spencer was getting off on Derek's fingers alone, all three of them, but he craved more of him"”all of him.

"Derek, please," his voice deep, husky, and lustful as his long fingers dig deeply into Derek's muscular shoulders, the poor boy just couldn't take the torture anymore.

"You sure you're ready?" Derek questions considerately, concern written in those intoxicating dark eyes of his, but Spencer didn't want considerate, he wanted.

"Positive," Spencer replies, body falling backward as Derek's form shadowed over his. Slender legs wrapping around a well-defined waist, willing his body to relax. Spencer inhaled deeply a Derek took his time entering him, adjusting to the new feeling.

"God," cries out the younger agent, and his vocabulary becomes limited to just two words: God and Morgan, and he used both interchangeably as they pick up a rather intense pace. Head tossed back, lips parted as Derek's mouth places sloppy kisses along a angular jaw line, thrusting in tune with his teasing ministrations. Limbs, one giant mess as Spencer couldn't decipher night from day anymore, and everything seemed to mesh into one universal theme. Time wasn't of importance, pleasure consumed every and all thought.
