Reid had gone on a vacation. The longest one that Hotch could remember. Reid had to attend a funeral all across the country even though he barely knew the deceased. Missing Reid was expected; after all they had become really good friends over the past few months. While Reid was away, Hotch had realized that he did have feelings for Reid and wondered if Reid had any for him.

Reid had never expected Hotch and him close and was extremely happy when Hotch informed him that would be at the airport, waiting for him. Reid started to fantasize him about him and hoping that Hotch would be feeling something, even if it wasn't love and even if it was never expressed for him.

As Hotch entered the airport he started to feel his stomach turn inside out. What's wrong with you, Hotch thought. Seeing that Reid's plane had touched ground, Hotch went to the arrival hall, feeling nervous and straggly scared to see Reid. He couldn't wait. He could not wait to start stealing glances of Reid during work. The idea of Reid being his new crush was just driving him crazy.

When Reid had spotted Hotch, his hand skipped a beat. He had missed Hotch so much that all he wanted to do was embrace Hotch in his arms.

Hotch had seen Reid and for a moment. Hotch studied every bit of Reid's body wishing and wanting Reid for himself. It was obvious that Hotch was eyeing Reid, and that made him grin. To Hotch Reid was a beauty. There was a long silence. Both knew they wanted each other but neither wanted to admit it.

Suddenly Hotch said "I miss you a lot"

Upon hearing this, Reid blushed and all he could do was smile. "Me too."

Hotch was pleased that he had an effect on Reid but his curiosity had made him denied his next move.

Reid was fantasizing about Hotch even though Hotch was so close to him. Reid could smell Hotch and Hotch and sudden warmth just took him over. He wanted Hotch too much that his plan to avoid him had failed. Without a warning, Hotch had planted a kiss on Reid's lips and for a minute, Reid wondered if he was dreaming but Hotch snapped him back into reality when his hand confirmed with Reid that this was his best day. Reid returns the kiss. With their tongues playing playfully with one another, it was a regret when they broke apart. Both had their questions answered and both wanted more then this.
