"When are you going to have some kids?"

Emily choked on her wine and looked over at her sister-in-law Jane with a phony smile on her face. Jane was the type of person so just blurt out "those" types of questions in a sugary sweet tone and expect you not to be caught off guard.

"Well there kind of has to be a man in the equation first." Emily said taking a large gulp from her glass of wine.

"And why isn't there yet? You're beautiful, smart, funny, and a great person. I would think the guys would be beating down your door." Jane said bouncing her two year old son Jake on her knee.

"Thanks but I wish. I have a hard time dating because of my work. I can't help but profiling every man I go out with and it never turns out good."

"Don't be so picky." Jane tickled Jake causing him to giggle. "The right guy will find you soon you just have to be patient."

Tom, Emily's older brother, came back into the room and she let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't really up for carrying on that particular conversation with Jane. He took Jake from Jane and the child happily nestled into his arms. "Who wants dessert?" He asked.

Emily looked down at her watch. "Oh you know what I think I'm going to pass. I'm exhausted and I have to get up really early for work tomorrow."

"Are you sure? It's chocolate mousse cake." Tom tried tempting her.

"Yeah I'm sure." She said getting up from the table. She walked over to her brother and placed a quick kiss on his cheek. She gently ruffled Jake's curly brown hair and tickled his belly. "Thanks for dinner. I'll see you guys later.

"Don't be a stranger now." Jane called after her.

An hour and a half later Emily found herself in a bar with JJ and Garcia who were happily checking out men and giggling about them. Emily took a sip of her beer and looked bored.

"What's wrong Em?" Garcia asked.

"Nothing I've just been thinking about what my sister-in-law Jane said."

"What did she say?" JJ said turning her attention away from a cute blonde guy in his mid 30's.

"She told me I was going to find Mr. Right soon."

"Do you really think there's a Mr. Right out there for all of us?" JJ asked.

"I'm not a big believer in story book romances so I would be the wrong person to ask." Emily said taking another sip of her beer.

"Well I believe in Mr. Right and I've found mine, his name is Kevin Lynch." Garcia smiled dreamily. "I know you'll find him Em. You'll know when you see him."

Emily shook her head with laughter and turned to see Hotch walking through the door. He was still dressed in his business suit and looked a bit out of place. Rossi followed behind him and Emily knew why he was in a dive like this.

"Hey look who's here." JJ said nudging Garcia.

"Hey boss man!" Garcia shouted to Hotch.

He looked up and a small smile painted his features when he saw the three women. His vision immediately was drawn to Emily. He didn't know why but it always was. She looked a little distraught but it wasn't his place to get involved in his team's personal lives.

"What are you doing here?" Garcia asked when Hotch came over to the table.

"Rossi dragged me here for a drink.

"Ah." Garcia said.

"Are you okay?" Hotch asked Emily.

"Yeah just pondering a few timeless questions." She said giving him a joking laugh.

"Hotch!" Rossi yelled from the bar.

"I have to go." Hotch said. "Try and keep Garcia out of trouble."

"Don't worry boss man I'm on my best behavior tonight, scouts honor." She said as innocently as possible."

Hotch couldn't help but smile at that and left to Join Rossi.

Garcia turned back to Emily and a mischievous smile spread across her face. "Now let's try and find Em Mr. Right."

Emily gave Hotch one last glance and dropped her head onto the table letting out a tortured little sob.
