Aaron Hotchner awoke from his light slumber when he felt something beside him wriggling around restlessly. Emily Prentiss punched at her pillow angrily and lay black down with a thud. An annoyed growl came from her throat and she turned her head to find Hotch watching her with a bemused look on his handsome face and a quirked eyebrow.

"What did that pillow ever do to you?" He asked jokingly.

"Sorry." She rolled over and gave him an apologetic smile. "I just can't fall asleep."

Hotch untangled his arms from the sheets and wrapped around Prentiss's waist pulling her body to his. "What's the matter?"

"I don't know I just can't get the last case we worked out of my head."

"I know how you feel. It's hard to believe that man turned into a monster just like his father."

"Do you think that something like the instinct to murder can really be passed down through genes?"

"I don't know but his father was a murderer and it turned him into a heartless monster." Hotch said.

"You're a great father." She said placing a soft kiss on his neck. "When Jack is over and I watch the two of you together." Emily stopped and looked into his eyes. "He's really lucky to have you as his dad."

"You know I think that Jack is starting to develop a little bit of a crush on you." Hotch told her and Prentiss muffled a small laugh against his chest. "Every time I pick him up for the weekend he always asks if you're going to be here and have you noticed how he always falls asleep next to you on the couch. I'm starting to get suspicious."

"Don't worry I only have eyes for one Hotchner man."

"I believe you mentioned something about not being able to fall asleep." Hotch said waggling his eyebrows suggestively.

Emily's laughing was stifled as Hotch began placing long, leisurely kisses on her lips and across her face.
