Spencer settled himself down, comfortable in pajamas and a mug of coffee. Reaching out he picked up a lighter flicked it on; his hand moving from candle to candle, the wicks sparking to life. His long arm stretched out and flicked off the lights, leaving the area immediately around him bathed in soft glowing light.

His elegant hands drew towards himself a pad of paper, quill and ink. Dipping the pen repeatedly, words flowed smoothly from the tip, twisting onto the paper. Tonight was Winter Solstice, a time to express his soul, a time to remember who he was within.
