Morgan had his bag thrown over his shoulder, already heading for the elevator and home, when Reid caught up to him .

"What's up, kid?"

Reid paused, wondering if his question was obvious. Pursing his lips, he said, "Tell me what you think."

Morgan looked at him grimly. "I think you already got your talk from Hotch."

Fair enough but not satisfactory. That's why he said, "I'm sorry."

"I know. You don't need to tell me and you know that, don't you?"

He did, but still... "Look, I..."

And gone it was.

Some awkward seconds passed in silence, until Morgan's features relaxed. He even smiled as he said, "I understand why you did it. I don't like it, man, but I do understand why you felt you had to. Doesn't mean you can't be sorry for it at the same time, too."

Bull's eye.

"Thanks."

"Anytime."

And they went home.
