Now Spencer Reid was not a man that drinks a lot, rarely did his hand enclose around a glass filled with an alcoholic beverage and when he did drink he had a small amount of the liquid never more then a glass. But after so long of dealing with this issue he craved a drink, one night of being drunk so that he didn't have to deal with the constant pain but he always beat the craving. That is he beat it every night expect tonight.

Tonight he was nursing a beer sitting in a cozy bar with Morgan and Garcia. They were chatting about their most recent case, a child murder in Kentucky, feeling the need to release after this particularly gruesome assignment they came to this bar to wind down.

A young redhead with little traces of clothing, only fit for a microscope, came to the table and asked in the sweetest voice a girl her age could manage, if Morgan would like to dance with her. Readily Derek agreed and left Spencer and Garcia alone in the dark booth. Garcia was too asked to dance as well and without anyone to keep him busy Reid got up from behind the table and headed towards the bar.

Spencer made sure that he sat on a stool near the corner of the bar so that he could be slightly hidden by the dark and so that no one could tell he was watching Morgan with a steady gaze. It wasn't until Derek and the redhead began grinding their hips together that Reid finally closed his hand around the beer sitting in front of him. He began to slowly gulp down the disgusting liquid, not paying an ounce of attention to its taste.

Alcohol flowed through Spencer's veins sending him into a blissful state of drunkenness. His eyes never left Derek's body though. He kept watching, or more like staring at Morgan, imagining the feel of the special agent's body against his own. He longed for Derek to touch him as he does all of his girlfriends.

Abruptly a hand slapped Spencer's shoulder; jumping Reid turned around and came face to face with the man he had been studying all night. With a wink Morgan muttered something about seeing Spencer at work tomorrow before he left with a quick wave, leaving Reid with an empty heart.

Not even bothering to look for Garcia, Reid chugged down a bottle of water before quickly leaving the bar. He began walking down the sidewalk, kicking a pebble as he went along the path to his home, his vacant home. His thoughts drifted back to Morgan and he tried to force them away, to stop thinking about his unobtainable crush but they wouldn't leave.

Suddenly Spencer's foot was caught on something. He tugged once, then a second time. It wouldn't leave the ground. He looked around, squinting his eyes to see what the heck was trapping his foot. Reid's eyes opened as wide as saucers when he realized where he was trapped. A whistle blew in the distance. Panic filled Spencer's eyes. No. Not this.

A light shone around the corner of the trees. The whistle was louder when it blew this time. Reid tried to pull his foot from his shoe but it would not come out. No. This cannot be happening. Wind blew around him; a chill went through his spine. Please no. Don't let this happen!

-_-_-_-_-_-
