“Where are we?” Martha demanded, “And when the hell are you going to take me somewhere interesting?”

“This is the end of time,” the Doctor said irritably, “what could be more interesting than when everything dies?”

Martha snorted but she was distracted by the body lying on the ground.

“You take me to all the best places,” she snarked, “they just leave bodies lying around. He doesn’t look very futuristic though,” she added.

“That’s because he’s not,” the Doctor said, “He must have hitched a ride from Cardiff, no wonder she was grumpy.”

“You know… knew him?” Martha said nudging the body with her foot. Only to shriek when the body gasped for breath and grabbed her ankle.

“Don’t kick me,” he said climbing to his feet. “Doctor,” he said with a nod.

“Captain,” the Doctor replied. “Ow…” he said when the Captain punched him in the face. He couldn’t say any more because the Captain was kissing him.

“Well that explains a lot,” Martha muttered.

“No it doesn’t,” the Doctor replied pushing the Captain off after a few minutes. “Jack travelled with me for a while and he’s always been over enthusiastic.”

“And you’d know,” Jack said with a leer that twisted, “Until you abandoned me.”

“I was busy dying at the time,” the Doctor replied testily.

“And afterwards? I woke up surrounded by Dalek dust and no sign of you or Rose.”

“Well I was busy with other stuff, knew you’d be alright, you always are.”

“The Daleks, did you use the Delta Wave before you left?”

“Nah, Rose went and opened the heart of the TARDIS and did it for me, stupid kid.”

“Is that what happens when he gets tired of you?” Martha said, “he just dumps you wherever?”

“Normally,” Jack replied, “unless you’re a little blonde lapdog willing to do anything and flexible to boot.”

“Oh she was blonde,” Martha said, “why aren’t I surprised.”

“Oi, shut up the pair of you,” the Doctor said, “we’re at the end of time itself, let’s look around for something interesting and not spend it blogging.” He stalked off with Jack and Martha wandering behind talking softly. “I can hear every word,” the Doctor added and Jack laughed.

The Doctor had known what Rose had done when she declared that the Daleks wouldn’t ruin her fun. Had known Jack was basically immortal and really hadn’t liked the sensation. So he had happily lied to Rose about Jack’s fate and Rose hadn’t really cared enough to push. He’d been rather glad when she’d got stuck in the other universe; she’d been getting rather clingy.

The hunt at least was something interesting and they ran down the hill to see who would win, the terrified man or the howling mob. The Doctor was pretty sure the mob but you never could tell.

He was rather put out when the man ran right to them and the mob promptly blocked their return to the TARDIS. So they ended up running to the compound and got embroiled in some half baked human plan to avoid the inevitable. He’d have just returned to the TARDIS except Jack has organised for it to be brought to them and the nutty professor was threatening to be smarter than him and he couldn’t have that.

He’d warned Martha a thousand times about being a chatterbox but it never stopped her and then Yana had to go and turn out to be the Master. The threat made by the Face of Boe making perfect sense after the fact. You Are Not Alone indeed.

So he let the Futurekind in and sent the rocket spiralling into space to a destination he knew was fake, since he’d been the one to set the beacon up in the first place. Best piece of fun ever, stupid humans always clung to hope.

“Come out of there,” he cajoled the Master who was holed up in the TARDIS which was annoying since she was supposed to like him best. “We’re the only two left,” he added.

“You let them all die,” the Master said sorrowfully through the intercom. “I saw you do it and hide myself away, made myself human and still you found me.”

“Of course I did,” he said, “I’ll always find you. Especially now that you’re the only one I can hear.”

“I’m sorry Doctor,” the Master said, “I can’t let that happen. The drums should have protected me but at least I have a little bit of you in here that will help me.”

The Doctor cursed Jack’s creepy stalker ways and the hand he’d kept. Especially considering the things he knew Jack would have done with it first.

He saw the signs of regeneration leak out of the TARDIS and wasn’t surprised when the voice was different when the Master spoke again.

“I’m sorry Doctor, I can’t let you play with the universe any more.”

“I know that voice,” Martha said but there was no time to listen to her.

The TARDIS began to dematerialise as Jack and Martha tried to shut the door on the Futurekind who had finally figured out they were the only food left.

“No you don’t,” he growled, “you don’t get away from me again.” He used his screwdriver to lock the controls so he’d know exactly where the Master went.

“Doctor,” Jack yelled, “if you don’t do something I’m going to have to see if I can come back from inside someone’s stomach.”

“That’s disgusting,” the Doctor said. He grabbed Jack’s arm and adjusted the Vortex Manipulator. Jack and Martha quickly covered his hand with theirs to make sure he didn’t leave them behind. He’d have been offended if that hadn’t actually been his plan.

Of course he got his TARDIS back and the Master failed again to stop him. The amusing thing was that he got hailed as the hero after a bit of playing with the Archangel network. The Master made the ultimate sacrifice refusing to regenerate and continue their game which completely wasted the reason he’d done it all in the first place so he was happy to burn the annoying bastard even if it meant he was the Last of the Time Lords again.

“I’m done,” Martha said afterwards, “I walked the earth for a year to save my family only to find that you’re a lying bastard who’s never going to give me what I want.” She stalked out of the TARDIS and never looked back.

“Well fine,” he said, “there’s gratitude for you. What about you Jack?” he turned to the Captain who was lounging against the console.

“I waited on Earth for you for over a hundred years,” Jack said, “built a team of willing shags and collected a lot of cool stuff while I waited for you to tell me why I couldn’t die. Then I find out that you’re prejudiced. Of course I’m coming with you. You’ve got a hell of a lot of making up to do.”

“It’s not my fault you’re a block in my time sense, it goes against everything I am.”

“Everything your bullying, stuck in the mud, tradition driven people are?” Jack asked moving closer. “It goes against everything you railed about when we travelled together, all the things you said were of no interest to you?” he was pressed up against the Doctor and could feel the tremor that passed through the Doctor’s body. “Kind of kinky then?”

“Kind of,” he admitted realising with a thrill that it was kinky. Jack’s presence prickled over his skin like the rasp of a Taulian paddle and Jack had always been good at wielding them.

“Kind of naughty and dirty bad wrong,” Jack added sliding his hands behind the Doctor’s back and grinding their crotches together. “Imaging fucking something that wrong, imagine what they would have said if they could see you. It might not be as fun as keeping that Master of yours but he was willing to die to escape you. I’m willing to die for you and I’ll keep coming back. Imagine fucking me to death…”

Jack always knew exactly what to say and do to distract him in the best possible way. Jack had been annoyingly noble when they first met but it hadn’t taken long to bring back the rogue time agent and then Jack had proven to be a more than able companion. Not as depraved as his sweet black Rose but pretty close and now he’d have plenty of time to enjoy being really, really dirty.

“You are wonderfully wrong Jack,” he said, spinning the other man around and pinning him to the console. “You’re right it will be fun to taste that wrongness, fuck the fact right out of you. You can be a naughty, naughty boy for me can’t you?”

The Master had never understood his attraction to humans because he could never see just how wonderfully depraved they could be. How much destruction they could create without even meaning to, it was absolutely delicious.

“Yes Doctor,” Jack said tilting his head to give the Doctor access, “I’ve been very bad. I was with Torchwood, the very agency built to stop you, for a hundred years saving that benighted planet.”

“I bet you changed history too,” the Doctor said, nipping at his earlobe.

“Only occasionally,” Jack said, “why do you think Rose was such an eager slut?”

“You had her before me?” the Doctor growled, “That earns you a proper spanking.”

“Of course I didn’t,” Jack replied, “not stupid enough to let her see me. Just made sure she had every opportunity to learn, but I’ll take that spanking if you’re offering.”

“Maybe later,” the Doctor said. He reached around Jack’s body and rubbed Jack’s cock not bothering to unzip anything. “Maybe later I’ll see if I can fuck the wrongness out of you or maybe I’ll just enjoy how wrong you taste until you forget your own name.”

“Shit,” Jack swore as the Doctor’s nimble fingers teased him to orgasm.

“Come on then Captain,” the Doctor said dancing away from him and heading for navigation, “there’s a whole wide universe out there waiting to be explored and tampered with. Let’s not keep it waiting.”

“I’ll get you for that,” Jack said pulling his sticky pants away from his groin.

“I expect you will,” the Doctor said with a grin.
