Speed had been quite surprised when Horatio had asked him out to dinner. He had stood in shock for a few moments, getting a chuckle from the older man. Speed shook himself out of it and gave him a soft smile with a slight nod.

Dinner was perfect and the night was slowly coming to an end. Speed smiled over at the redhead. “Kiss me.”

Horatio grinned as he pulled the younger man to him and kissed him deeply. “Come home with me?”

“Yes,” Speed breathed.

It had only been a few hours, but that was enough to know that Horatio Caine owned his heart.
