At Sullivan's, Stella was sitting at a table with some cops, having a drink, when she saw Don coming into the pub. He was still wearing the t-shirt and shorts, with sneakers, from the game he played with Danny.

Stella watched Don slumping on a stool at the bar, and heard him ordering a Jack Daniels. Stella was surprised to hear this, as usually Don doesn’t drink at this time of the day, and it was still early afternoon.

Saying goodbye to her friends, she got up and walk to Don. "Hi, Don," Stella said, as she sits down next to Don, "So what happened to make you take a JD?"

Don drank the Jack Daniels down one go, and asked for another one. Stella put a hand on Don's shoulder, "Did anything happen?"

"Danny!" Don spat out, "He is what happened!" Stella is rather taken aback at the statement, and wondered what Danny have done to make Don angry. She has never seen Don like this before.

"Danny?" Stella enquired, curiously, "What happened?"

Don held the tumble in his hand, it was the second Jack Daniels and he has not drunk it yet. He gave a heavy sigh, as he looked up at Stella.

"Danny told me something....." then Don paused, and turned around so that he could face Stella properly, "Listen, Stella, you have to keep this a secret?" When Stella nodded, Don continued, "OK, Danny told me that he is bisexual."

"Oh..is that all?" Stella asked, which surprised Don, "What? Do you know what bisexuality mean?" and before Stella could answer, Don continued, "It means that he...Danny...like guys...men...as well as gals, girls, whatever..."

Stella raised an eyebrow, "Of course I know what it means, Don! But I mean, does that matter? Why are you angry about him being bisexual?"

"Oh, if I was honest, Stella, I don't really care about the bisexuality, it..it...damnit!" Don downed the second glass of Jack Daniels in one go, again, "It is someone Danny is with that I am worried about. I know that he will hurt my best friend, my man, you know?"

Stella looks confused, "Erm..Who is this man? I mean if Danny is happy with him, should you be happy for him too?"

"Huh...M..I mean this guy won't make Danny happy for sure....damnit...I am sorry, I have to go, Stella," Don stands up, and smiled, sadly to Stella, "See ya later" and then he was gone.

Stella sighed, as she sat there, thinking to herself, 'Oh, what a mess!' She shook her head as she stands up from the stool, Stella knew she had to talk to Danny, and does have an idea of who he is with. She smiles, 'They both deserve it.'

Meanwhile, at Danny's apartment, although Danny is not really living there anymore, he still keeps the apartment to keep up the pretence of living there, and still have mail and bills delivered there, Danny let himself in, closing the door behind him.

His heart was full of sadness, as he remembered what happened earlier. Danny could not believe that Don have reacted like that. If anything, he thought that Don would be fine with it.

As he walks into the living room, he sees his lover Mac sitting in an armchair, reading a book, and smiles, his heart lightening up a little bit.

Mac looks up to find Danny standing there at the hallway, "Hi, sweetie. How did it go?"

Shaking his head, Danny steps into the room, then walks over to the armchair, and sits down on the floor, "Not so good."

"Oh, I am so sorry. I am sure Don will come around, eventually." Mac told Danny. Danny shrugged, "I am not so sure. I mean, it's strange, when I told him that I was bisexual, he just walked away, but when I told him that it was you, he turned around and walked up to my face, and said "Mac?" I was like 'huh?'" Danny explained to Mac, "I don't understand that."

Danny put his head in his hands, and started to sob. Mac slipped off the armchair, and sat on the floor besides him, took his lover into his arms and chest, and held him closely.
