WE THE JURY FIND THE DEFENDANT KENNETH MOORE GUILY OF MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE.

VERY WELL, I'D LIKE TO THANK THE JURY FOR THEIR DUE DILIGENCE IN THIS CASE, SENTENCING IS SET FOR TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY, JANUARY 19, 2009...COURT IS ADJOURNED.

And with those words 'the case of the co-ed killer' as the media came to call it was finally over, "Thank God that's over with," says a nearly exhausted Sara.

"Well we finally got the sick son of a bitch, it's too bad he killed five girls before we caught the schmuck," says an equally tired Catherine.

While Catherine is speaking Kenneth Moore looks directly at Sara, who was the lead CSI on the case and makes his hand look like a gun and point the imaginary gun at Sara and pulls the trigger.

"Are you okay honey, you look white as a sheet." says Catherine in a concerned tone as she looks at her girlfriend's pallor.

Shaken from her daze Sara says, "Oh..I'm okay it's just that Moore pointed his fingers at me like a gun and pulled the trigger."

"Aww hon, don't worry he won't be harming anyone ever again, now come on it's time we headed for home," Catherine says as she leads Sara out of the courtroom as the two hold hands.

One week later Sara and Gil are talking about a case the two of them are working, as they talking they walk past the ballistics lab just as Bobby is firing a gun to collect a bullet for another case...BANG...BANG!!

Sara hits the floor, "Are you okay Sara?" Gil asks very concerned about his protege.

"Yeah...sure Grissom, I'm fine...", Gil gives her one of his patented 'I don't believe you looks'. "Really Grissom I'm okay, well there goes my pager....looks like Ronnie finished checking out that ledger from the accountant's office on our case...see you later."

Gil follows her with his eyes, and doesn't notice Catherine coming up from behind him, "So Gil you checking out my girlfriend, because if you are I might have to hurt you," Catherine says with a chuckle.

Collecting his thoughts, he says "No but is everything okay between the two of you at home because I've noticed her a bit preoccupied and just a few moments ago as we were passing the ballistics lab, she didn't hear Bobby's warning and hit the floor when he fired a gun."

"Well Gil, as you know Sara and I went to the trial of Kenneth Moore the so-called 'Co-Ed Killer' and after the verdict was read, he stared at Sara and pointed his hand at her like it was a gun, and pulled the trigger...you know the way little boys do before their parents buy them toy guns."

"I know Catherine, just make sure she's okay because I don't want Ecklie breathing down my neck because she messed up on a case all because she's worried about this threat."

"Not to worry, I'll take good care of her."

As Catherine got back to her office, she noticed the familiar sound of Sara humming her favorite tune as she got closer, and as she went into her office she hears the door slam behind her and is immediately wrapped in her lover's embrace, "Ohhhh Cat you feel so good in my arms."

"MMmmm Sara, this is nice...but I think we should talk about what happend near Bobby's lab earlier."

"Did Grisom tell you," Sara asks even though she already knows the answer.

"Yes he did honey, don't be angry with him he's just worried about you and hbecause he doesn't want it to affect your work  because he doesn't want Ecklie in his face telling him what to do about you."

"I'm sorry sweetness, I've just been on edge since then, I just wish Ecklie would mind his own business."

"Don't be sorry, just calm down a little beside with me watching your back no one is coming close to you," Catherine then procedes to kiss Sara passionately.

SARA SIDLE PLEASE COME TO THE FRONT DESK ...YOU HAVE A VISITOR...SARA SIDLE TO THE FRONT DESK

"Another rooster in the hen house Sara?" Catherine asks Sara jokingly.

"The only HEN in my henhouse is you doll."

"Flattery will get you everywhere."

"God I hope so...now let me go see what this is all about," with that Sara leaves her lover's embrace and goes to the front desk.

"Some one here to see me Julie?" Sara asks the receptionist, who points to the young man waiting patiently.

"May I help you, young man?"

"THIS IS FOR MY BROTHER KENNETH MOORE YOU BITCH..." the young man then pulls out a pistol and BANG...BANG....BANG...Sara falls to the floor.

Everyone comes running to see what happend, it is then Cathetine sees Sara lying on th floor and runs to her and comforts her until the paramedics get there.  "SARA HONEY...PLEASE STAY WITH ME...I LOVE YOU....LINDSEY LOVES YOU... WE NEED YOU OH GOD PLEASE DON'T DIE!!!"

"I...lo'...love...y...you..Cath..."

"GOD NO PLEASE DON'T TAKE HER FROM ME PLEASE I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!" Catherine screams.

"Cath...baby are you okay I heard you screaming and came running to see what was the matter." Sara says as she get to their bed and holds Catherine tight until her tears and shaking subside

"Sara...you're alive...you haven't been shot." Catherine says finally coming to her senses.

"No honey I'm right here...and yes very much alive...I was downstairs turning out the lights to come to bed and I heard you scream...that must've been one hell of a nightmare."

"Oh sweety it was...I was dreaming that the Co-Ed Killer had his brother come and kill you at the lab after he was found guilty....God Sara if I ever lost you."

"Cath...remember Kenneth Moore was found murdered in his cell last week."

Catherine finally realizes what Sara is saying and lays back down, "Honey, could you come and cuddle with me until I fall back to sleep."

"With pleasure Cat...Good night my love...pleasant dreams."
