If anyone really looked, they would be able to tell Madison wasn’t his daughter. She looked like Ray, her features and build, but all they saw was her red hair.

Horatio walked away from his sister-in-law hurt and angry. Hurt that she would assume the worst of him. Angry that she would be so smug; looking down on him for having a child with an informant.

He turned and walked away, heading for his office. He caught sight of his lover. He smiled, his heart healing instantly. Brown eyes looked at him with so much love and understanding. His lover knew the truth and loved him unconditionally.
