Challenge: 100 Drabbles – Horatio Caine/Timothy Speedle

Horatio has learned more about books than he though he ever would in his life. He knew the moment he had met Speed that he had liked to read. He had no idea how much until he started a relationship with him.

He had no idea books came in so many shapes, sizes, and styles. And Speed knew each one of his books by heart. He would touch the spines with reverence and talk about where he found it and what it meant to him.

Horatio remembered when they packed all the books to move into their first house and the glare he got when he suggested storage. He never made that mistake again.

The redhead sighed as he picked up another book and put it in one of the many bookcases. Their house had bookcases in every room and each one was filled with small, large, hardback, soft back, and first editions.

Speed loved books, and Horatio loved Speed.
