The moon was full. Speed had always loved how the moonlight made Horatio’s hair glow. Not many got to see the redhead this relaxed. A simple pair of jeans, dark green button down shirt, and barefeet. Speed’s own outfit was very similar, except he wore a blue shirt instead of green.

They had decided that it would be just the two of them, on the beach at midnight on a full moon, vowing their lives to each other.

Speed slipped the platinum band onto Horatio’s finger. “I give you my heart, my soul, and my love, through this life and beyond.”

Horatio in turn slipped an identical platinum band onto Speed’s finger. “I give you my heart, my soul, and my love, through this life and beyond.”

The redhead cupped Speed’s cheek, wiping away the tears. “I love you.”

Speed pulled him close, taking his mouth into a soft kiss. “I love you, too.”
