Word Count: 123 Note: This was written as a part of the drabbles _100 challengen on the LJ. It's my first one from 100 (which leaves me with only 99 more to go...yay!). It's about prompt 066 "Rain". Hope you like it.

The day Nicky comes out of hospital it rains. Somehow I find this strangely fitting. Though I can't explain why. The man I love is safe again. His wounds are healing good. For his inner wounds he's going to see a therapist. So why do I feel like crying? Why am I in dire need to reach out, pull Nick close to me and hold him tight for all he's worth?

Because seeing and believing are two different things.

They all tell me he'll be fine. I must be sure. Yet I can't. I have to wait until we're alone. So I simply turn my face to the sky and let the rain wash away my tears of relief.
