"Good morning baby," Catherine says as she sees her daughter bouncing down the stairs from her room.

"Good morning mom," Lindsey answers in a very happy voice.

"My someone is in a really good mood this morning," Catherine says with a chuckle; usually because she almost always has to drag Lindsey out of bed and yell at her to hurry up and not miss the school bus.

"Well mom if you must know today is Friday and also if you haven't forgotten this is the one year anniversary of you and Sara dating..." says the teen with a smile on her face.

"So what's that got to do with anything..." Catherine says knowing the answer Lindsey will give her but just having a little fun at her daughter's expense.

"Mom don't you remember when Sara was in the hospital I asked her to move in and she said if the two of you were still together she would." Lindsey huffed exasperatedly.

All Catherine could do was smile, "Of course I remember honey...I was just kidding around...but you have to realize that moving in with someone takes a lot of planning and help."

"I'm sure the guys are willing to help...besides Sara's here most of the time anyway it won't be that much of a change for her."

Catherine realized Lindsey had a good point or rather a couple of good points; First the guys have been supportive of the relationship from the beginning even threatening to quit when Ecklie got wind of Cathrine and Sara's relationship and had threatend to fire them but once the team including Grissom made the threat to quit, he backed off and hasn't said a word since...Secondly, Sara was a frequent guest at times staying over weekends and even keeping an eye on Lindsey when she was off and Catherine had to work, "You know you're right Lindsey, how about we take Sara to her favorite restaurant tonight Terra."

"The vegetarian place near the strip...that sounds good, on the nights you work and Sara doesn't, Sara has been cooking vegetarian meals for us and I have to say they aren't that bad."

Catherine was awed by Sara's ability to get Lindsey to try something new, "How can Sara get you to try something different but when I do it you fight me on it."

"Mom because you have to know the first rule of being a teen,"

"What's that honey?"

"Never agree with your parents...oh there's the bus see you later mom..love you."

"I love you too honey." Catherine says as she clears the breakfast dishes from the dining room table.

A few hours later Catherine realizes she hasn't called Sara to ask her to dinner, so she picks up her phone and dials a number she knows by heart, "Hello?"

"Hey there tall, brunette and sexy how are you?"

Knowing it's Catherine, Sara thought she'd have some fun at her girlfriend's expense, "Wendy how many times have I told you, I can't see you anymore I'm dating Catherine."

"WHAT...you're seeing Wendy since when?" Catherine says angrily into the phone.

"Catherine honey...calm down I knew it was you just thought I'd have some fun...would you be angry if I said happy anniversary to the woman that has made my life heaven these past 12 months," Sara says hoping to make it up to Catherine.

After a few moments of silence, "I guess not....I think I had it coming though.."

"Why do you say that darlin'"

"Earlier this morning Lindsey 'reminded' me it was our one year anniversary and I acted like I had forgotten that plus she thought I'd forget the deal she has with you about moving in."

After her fit of laughter subsides Sara says, "Karma's a bitch isn't it."

"You got that right, now to the reason I called...as you said it is our one year anniversary so how about the three of us going to that new vegetarian place Terra, and then back here for a nightcap...or something."

"You bet honey, what time should I be there?"

"How about you come here at 6:30, then we can get there by 7:00."

"Sounds good see ya then....I love you Cat."

"See ya...Love you too Sara."

Dinner was a great success; Sara had Whole Wheat Pasta Primavera, Catherine had a Lentil and Vegatable Stew and Lindsey had Tofu and Bolger Wheat Enchiladas and once dinner was done it was off to the Willow's residence.

"Wow Sara that was really good food, I can't wait to go back."

"Okay young lady where is my real daughter because you are obviously not her," Catherine jokes with Lindsey.

"Okay you two enough of the comedy routine I have gifts for both of you." Sara says ending the banter between Lindsey and Catherine.

"Aww you didn't have to honey," Catherine says.

"Yes I did besides the two of you took me out to dinner so I figured I'd get both of you something in return...please Cath, sit down."

After the two Willows were sitting down, "Honey this is for you," Sara says handing a box to Catherine, she then turned to Lindsey and handed her a small box, "Lindsey this box is for you."

Catherine opened the box and pulled out a heart-shaped pin with a unique design, "It's beautiful baby but what's this design?"

"If you look close it our initials 'C', 'S', and 'L' interwoven together; I saw the pin and had to have the initials of the two most important people in my life on it to show them how much I care for them."

"Aww thank you honey," Catherine then gives Sara a kiss.

"My turn..," Lindsey pipes up and opens her box and reveals a heart-shaped necklace with the same design, "Mom look the design is just like yours....thank you Sara," Lindsey runs over and hugs Sara tight.

"This is for the both of you," Sara says as she hands Catherine an envelope.

Catherine opens the envelope to see a contract of sorts and it has the word 'CANCELLED' written in red ink across it, "What is this if I may ask?"

"It's the lease on my apartment...do you really think I'd break Lindsey's heart."

Lindsey is the first to realize what this means and begins running around screaming, "SARA'S MOVING IN....SARA'S MOVING IN!!!"

"You mean you're moving in with us just as you promised Lindsey last year." Catherine says tears dampening her cheeks.

"Well I do have a month to move out of my old place...with the help of the guys I think it can be done...besides I can't back down on a deal now can I.. or don't you want me to move in with you Catherine."

"More than anything in the world...I love you Sara."

"I love you too Catherine."
