Danny wasn't used to being in a relationship, especially one that lasted as long as his relationship with Don. They were going on a year next month and that was about 365 times longer than he was used to. It beat his old record of 2 months, and that had only happened once, mostly because the girl's mom died and he had a heart.

Anyway, Danny just couldn't stand the thought of being committed. He was a free spirit, he hated feeling caged... well, that was getting too emotional for him. He'd prefer to say that he was more of a ‘Find, Fuck, Flee' kind of guy.

But, since he and Don started ‘dating', he hadn't even thought of another girl or another guy, or anything. All he thought about was how he could please Don, how he could make Don smile, how he could make what they had last forever.

He actually more free now than when he did when he was single. The cage he had enclosed around his heart was opened and, Lord, it felt good.
