You're taken aback by the kiss, even more so because you've been conditioned to expect the slow dance. The series of almost compliments, the impassive looks, the months of the other person pulling away until you're not certain if even you are in love anymore. But Catherine is not about subtlety, and you're not about to stop her now that your passion for Grissom has turned dry and sexless.
