Don knew that just talking to the guy he was on his way to meet was wrong. In the time he qnd Adam had been together, he had never once entertained the idea of being un-faithful to Adam, and now here he was on the verge of doing that very thing.

The guy's name was Briam Wright and Don had met him on a case he was working. Without thinking, Don had given the guy one of his cards, and shortly after the phone calls began. The first few time they had talked, it had been case-related, but shortly after, the calls became more personal in nature.

Brian wanted to know all about Don and his work, and even threw in questions that were a bit personal in nature. Don knew he shouldn't be telling this man these things, but he couldn't seem to help himself.

When Don mentioned Adam, the tone of the calls changed slightly, but Don was too hooked to notice. That's why he was on his way to meet this guy, because he couldn't stop himself. On his way to his meeting, Don happened to see Danny and Adam go into a coffee shop and he huried on so as not to be spotted. At that moment, Don realized what he was doing and realized it was not worth it.

Yes, he'd go to meet Brian, but only to tell him to please find someone else. Don realized there were too many other hearts involved that he just couldn't stand to loose and the he just couldn't stand the idea of being without Adam.

When Don arrived at Brian's, Brian was very happy to see the handsome detective. However, once he took a good look, he realized that something was wrong.

"What seems to be the problem, Detective?"

"Brian, I really shouldn't be here. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's what is."

"I'm a patient man, Don. You'll come around!"

"Brian, I know you see that 'don't touch' sign all over me. I belong to someone else, and to you I'd just be bad news. Just face it, Brian, I'm dynamite, so please don't light the fuse!"
