Horatio sat up in the bed and watched his lover sleep. With each flash of lightening he would study the pale form. He was healing from the gunshot wound, but they still had a long way to go.

Ever since the shooting he hadn’t slept well and the storm wasn’t helping tonight. So he decided to sit up and just watch Speed sleep.

Another flash lit up the room, giving him a clear view of his lover for a few moments. He saw the tension in Speed’s face. He slid down under the covers and pulled the sleeping man into his arms. His lover instantly relaxed into his embrace. By the next flash both men were sleeping peacefully.
