Summary: "Do you think that's appropriate?"

"Do you think that's appropriate?" Calleigh asked as she surveyed her colleague's handiwork.

Suddenly apprehensive, Speed stepped back from the package. "What? Don't you think H'll like it?"

Calleigh grinned. "Oh, I'm sure he'll love it, whatever it is. I'm just not sure that bringing it to work wrapped in paper covered in...what are those, anyway?"

Speed blushed. "Exactly what they look like."

"Oh, my." Calleigh's tone was mild enough, but her raised eyebrow spoke volumes about her opinion of Speed's phallic wrapping paper.

"Look," Speed rushed to defend himself, "it's not like anyone else is going to see it. I just brought it in here because I needed a flat space to wrap it on. As soon as I'm done here I'm putting it in H's locker, and nobody else will even know it was here."

"Hey, guys."

"Except Delko," Calleigh said amiably.

Speed groaned. "Oh, God, let the floor open up and swallow me right now."

Delko peered over his shoulder. "H's anniversary present?"

Speed was too mortified to do anything but nod. All he needed was for Alexx to blow through the room, and his humiliation would be complete.

Delko chuckled and shook his head. "You guys are a riot, you know? H is in his office, with the door locked, refusing to let anyone in until your present is hidden. Man, if your bedroom walls could talk tonight...."

Feeling his face flushing a million different shades of red, Speed snapped, "Shut up, Delko." He grabbed Horatio's present and raced from the lab.

Right towards Horatio's office.
