Don and Danny are more than okay now; they are best buddies once again. For a while, after Danny came out to Don, he thought he would lose Don as a best buddy, but thanks to Mac and Stella's inferences, they both are good now. Mac and Danny's relationship is going great, and Stella and Don knowing about them made it easier for them to be a little more open with their best friends. The rest of the team does not know, because Mac and Danny do not want to complicate things.

So, things are back to normal.....well, almost.

Glances can mean anything. But as Mac pretends to not see anything, he does notice Don stealing a glance over to him.

One time, when Mac and Danny were working at a crime scene, Mac could feel Don's eyes on the both of them. At the time, he wondered if Don wasn't totally comfortable with him being with Danny.

Other time, Mac was alone in his office, when he noticed Don glancing through the window at him, and it made him wonder what was going on with Don.

Or that time, when Don was in his - their - apartment, having dinner with Mac and Danny. When Don kept glancing over to Mac as he was in the kitchen. Now Mac was beginning to wonder if Don is having feelings for him.

Whenever Mac looks at Don, he always looks away from Mac. Mac is getting worried now, he knows that if he thinks Don is having feelings for him, Mac will have to tell Danny. Danny won't like it. He sighs. But not yet...

Then Don and Mac are both in the elevator. Now, usually Don and Mac have banter about things, but Don just stood there quietly, and Mac noticed that Don was blushing a little bit. He could feel Don's eyes on his back, looking down and up, checking him out. At that moment, Mac knew that Don does have feelings for him, and wonders how serious they were or how long. As the doors open, Don quickly brushes past Mac, and walk out. Mac gives a sigh. He will have to tell Danny.

At the same time, what Mac didn't realize was that Stella was watching him watching Don. She also noticed the glances Don made. At first, Stella thought that perhaps Don is not totally comfortable with Danny and Mac being together. But as time progress, she watched Don stealing quick glances at Mac, when he thought nobody was watching. Stella begun to realize that Don might be in love with Mac, or at least have feelings for him. Stella is now worried, not just for Don, but for Mac and Danny. Stella never has seen Mac that happy for a long time, not since Claire died. Stella does not want anything bad to happen between Mac and Danny, to send Mac back into the silent and moody Mac. Stella knows that she will have to talk to Don. She shakes her head, 'what to do, what to do.'
