SUMMARY: The following is a drabble I wrote for Don and Mac.

Don woke with a start and looked around. Mac wasn't in the bed next to him, and that's what woke him up. He sat up in the bed and listened. He heard Mac moving around in the living room of the loft they shared together and got up to go check up on him.

He found Mac looking out the window at the night. He walked up behind Mac and slid his arms around the older man, pulling him backwards toward him. No words were spoken, but then none were needed.

Mac could feel everything Don was trying to convey with just an embrace. It told him many things, but the most important things it said were that he was wanted, cherished, and loved, and that made Mac happier than he had been in a long time. END
