Challenge: 100 Drabbles – Horatio Caine/Timothy SpeedleHe snickered at the team's grumbling about the cold and how winter had finally hit Miami. They didn’t know the meaning of the word – winter.
“It’s not that cold.” Speed rolled his eyes as Horatio stole the blanket.
“It is to me,” Horatio complained.
“This is coming from the man who lived in New York for how many years?” Speed set the book down on the nightstand.
“And I hated every moment of winter.” Horatio lay on his side, curled under the covers, barely a crop of red hair poking out.
Speed slid down into the covers. “I have better ways to warm you up.”
