It's something that will pass.

He's sure about it. Things like that never last long. The arousing dreams at night will pass. Just as the little stings in his heart will pass. And the butterflies in his stomach will lie down. Eventually. The shaking of his hands whenever he sees Nick passed already. See? No problem.

Other things will pass, too. The longing looks he's imagining. And of course he imagines them, for they can't be real. The casual touches will pass. The shiver that runs down his spine everytime he hears this voice.

It'll pass. It always does.
