Speed wrapped his arms around his lover, pulling him back against his chest. They stood on the roof of the lab watching the sunset. Technically their day was over, but there was a lab full of evidence that need to be processed and reports to be filed.

Horatio leaned his head back against Speed’s shoulder, basking in his lovers embrace. They always took this moment to just relish each others company. Doing something as simple as watching the sunset. The rule it didn’t matter where they were, they took that small moment and enjoyed it.

“Shall we get back?” Speed whispered against the redhead’s ear

Horatio watched the lights start to flicker around Miami, darkness bringing out the criminals. He shook his head, not thinking about work or Miami, but instead the man in his arms.

“Not yet.” He turned and kissed him softly.
