Title: Would It Be A Problem
By: anmani
Pairing: Nick/Greg
Rating: PG
A/N: It's short and I'm not satisfied. I've rewritten it too many times and I just need to get rid of it.
Summary: Set during/after Ch-Ch-changes.

He watched Ecklie carefully both listening and reading his lips to make sure that he really heard what he thought he heard. Ecklie was reorganizing or more correctly splitting up his team and demoting Sophia Curtis. He could only begin to imagine the impact on his team.

Catherine would have to prove herself as a supervisor and he had no idea what she would be like. But at least she got to keep Warrick.

Sophia would be pissed off but probably working her butt of to prove herself.

Sara would take that as a challenge and he would have to tread careful around those two.

Warrick would take it all with a frown and then go back to work. He was good at moving on unhurt no matter what happened.

Nick would accept it and he hoped it wouldn't destroy too much in the long run.

Greg would what; how would he react. Shake it of and burry himself in his quest to become a CSI or would he loose it being separated from Nick?

Nick and Greg had told him about their relationship three years ago. He'd seen them talking from afar and read Greg's lips saying things you would only say to your lover.

Later that night he had called them into his office and asked them if it would be a problem. It had been a shock to learn that they had been together almost ever since Greg had started working in the lab.

It hadn't been a problem; maybe an advantage because Nick was the best to handle Greg and teach him.
He thought about all the shit they had gone through over the years, but then they had had each other and now they would be apart.

It was times like this that he wished he knew his way around politics and people better. But as usual he ended up loosing.
