Speed watched every day as Horatio tried to protect and take care of his family. Protect Yelina from finding out her husband had cheated on her with a meth addict. Take care of Suzie and Madison, making sure they had a good life.

He took Ray’s mistakes onto himself. Not letting anything hurt or destroy his family, not even his own brother. He took all the responsibilities onto himself. He was their pillar of strength.

Speed dragged his tired lover home and sent him upstairs to take a hot shower. Horatio took care of his family; it was Speed’s job to take care of Horatio.
