Summary: Sara can't believe Catherine didn't trust her.

A/N: This is a really dramamtic and sad story, I am sorry that this kind of story is my first, but it's not the kind I do normally but the title came to me and I had to write the story before my brain let it leak out my ears...

Catherine ran to her car as fast as possible after she ,Keppler, Brass and Warrick gave the team the report on how they found the councilman's killer using what Keppler called 'Reverse Forensics'.  She hated to keep things from the team especially Sara but she and the others involved believed it was best that only a few of them know what was going on, that way they were the only ones that would be in trouble.

Catherine made it to Sara's apartment complex in about 15 minutes, she was about to get out of her car but she stopped to collect her thoughts and to put on a brave face because she had been crying on the way over because of what she had done to Sara.

She ran up the steps to Sara's apartment and knocked, "Sara it's me Catherine, I know I'm probably the last person you want to see right now but please I need to talk to you."

"Go screw yourself Catherine," was the answer from the other side of the locked door.

Catherine knew by looking at Sara at the meeting that she was mad, but she didn't think it was this bad, "C'mon sweety please, I really am sorry for the way things were handled  but it was for the best that you, Greg and Nick were left out of the loop that way no one would get hurt."

Catherine had hope that Sara was softening when she heard the apartment door opening, but her hope was crushed was as soon as Sara opened the door Catheirine felt the sting of Sara's hand as she slapped Catherine in the face.

"No one get hurt Catherine ... no one get hurt, damn you Catherine you know my trust issues and you go and do this behind my back someone got hurt bad and that someone was me," Sara says through angry tears.

"Sara honey..." Catherine tried sweet talking to her very pissed off girlfriend but when she saw the look of disgust on Sara's face she thought better of it, "Sara please you must understand if we all knew about this we could have all gotten in trouble for it if it were made public, so the fewerthat knew the fewer people with culpabilty, Please forgive me Sara,I love you and I promise I won't do it again," Catherine says as her own tears begin to fall.

"You are right about one thing Catherine you will never do that to me again because as of right now you and I are OVER...now please leave so I can get some sleep, and by the way I will be by to pick the things of mine at your place and I will bring your things from here back to yours."

Catherine stood in shock as Sara walks back into her apartment, "SARA...PLEASE I LOVE YOU, I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT YOU, I LOVE YOU AND TRUST YOU WITH MY HEART!!"

Sara opens the door looks Catherine square in the eyes and says "I'm sorry Catherine it was too little... too late."
