Challenge: 100 Drabbles – Horatio Caine/Timothy Speedle“Speedle.” I cringed when I heard my mother's voice on the other line. “Mom? What do you want?”
‘You never call. How am I supposed to know if you’re dead or not?’ she demanded, always with the melodramatics.
“Why would you care?” I smart mouthed back. I never understood why she kept calling. They disapproved of my life and lifestyle, but they kept calling to save me from sin.
‘I care about your immortal soul…’ I turned a deaf ear to her antics. Instead decided to study my lover as he moved about the kitchen.
He was beautiful pale skin, sprinkled with freckles, gorgeous red hair. He turned and smiled at me. “Gotta go mom.” I hung up the phone and pounced my lover.
