"Can you believe we've been together five years?" Greg asked suddenly.

"Doesn't seem like it," Nick replied, threading his fingers in Greg's.

Greg rolled over onto his side. "Did I ever tell you about the first time I saw you?"

After thinking for a moment, Nick shook his head. "Nope. Tell me about it."

He suddenly looked shy, an emotion that was uncommon for Greg to show, even around Nick. "Well..."

Greg bobbed his head in rhythm to the last song he'd been listening to in the lab. As soon as he'd moved into the Las Vegas crime lab, he'd set up his stereo. It helped him focus, somehow. It was how he worked in San Francisco and as long as the supervisor didn't care, it was how Greg was going to work in Vegas.

He wasn't usually one to be nervous in new situations. He was always outgoing, loved to meet every and anyone new. Greg had only been at the Vegas DNA lab for a week but he thought he'd settled in pretty well.

Waving at Mandy in the print lab, he turned a corner on his way to the locker room. He was ready to get home and sleep. He slung the heavy door open and stepped inside. No one else was there. Then, he heard the showers running.

Greg stopped. The water turned off and he caught the sound of water dripping onto the floor and wet feet slapping against tile
. 'I shouldn't look,' he thought, but curiosity got the better of him.

He cautiously peeked around the corner and had to suppress a gasp at the sight. A dark-haired, tan, wet man stood with his back turned to him. Greg knew him, barely. He tried to remember the name
. 'Nick? Nick. That was it.'

Greg's eyes traveled down the length of Nick's muscular body. He had slipped on a pair of tight gray boxer briefs that hugged his ass perfectly. Greg watched the muscles in his arms and back move as Nick stretched, then rummaged in his bag for a shirt. As he threw the fabric over his head, Greg swallowed and looked away.

The wall kept him up as he tried to slow down his heart rate and get rid of his sudden erection. There was more movement from the shower area and Greg quickly grabbed his stuff and scrambled out of the room, hurrying home with the image of Nick firmly planted in his brain.

"I think it was love at first sight," Greg giggled.

"It sounds more like lust." Nick looked down at his boyfriend and grinned. He cleared his throat. "Uh, while we're sharing stories..."

"Spill it."

"I saw you looking at me that day."

Greg didn't have time to respond before Nick's lips were on his.
