"Remind me again why we did it with handcuffs?"

"I'm not the one with the cop fetish," Nick said matter-of-factly. He was grinning.

"You could've warned me about the bruises!" Greg banged his head on the nearest locker.

"I expected you to know they'd bruise!"

Greg sought in vain for a witty response. "I spent all shift trying to cover my wrists from Sara," he replied instead.

"Oh." Nick chuckled, a small half-laugh. "Did she notice?"

Greg thought for a moment, trying to remember. "I don't think so."

"Let me see 'em," Nick said, nodding towards Greg's sleeves.

Greg sighed and pushed his cuffs up and, sure enough, the faint shapes of handcuffs were imprinted in red. Nick started laughing.

"Why are you enjoying this?"

Nick patted Greg on the shoulder as he tried to regain his composure. "It's about time you learned a lesson for how daring you are!" Still chuckling, he started opening his locker.

Greg sat down and the bench and folded his arms in a pout. "You're going to pay for this," he muttered.

Nick pulled the lock off, opened the door and...shiny, brand new handcuffs clattered to the bench. Greg's eyes widened in shock; Nick turned bright red.

Somewhere, Sara was laughing her ass off.
