Greg watched Ryan as his boyfriend moved around their bedroom, blowing out the candle that had been burning and dissipating the scent of cinnamon that had filled the room. When Ryan turned towards him, he was smiling in the soft glow of the lamplight.

Without speaking, Greg held out his arms to his lover, knowing that Ryan would come to him. He wasn't wrong about that; within seconds, Ryan was snapping off the lamp and sliding into bed beside him, taking Greg into his arms and kissing him thoroughly.

They had the night off from work, and Greg intend to make the most of it. He wanted Ryan to make love to him all night; he wanted them to sate their bodies completely, and then fall asleep in each other's arms, only to wake to the dawn of a new day and make love again.

It wasn't just about the sex, though, he told himself as their lips met for a second time. Ryan was so much more to him than a sexual partner; Ryan owned him heart, body and soul. Ryan was the man of his dreams, the love of his life, his other half.

He had never loved anyone in the way that he loved Ryan. He didn't think he was capable of feeling this kind of love for anyone else; if anything ever happened to separate them, he would never love again. He would spend the rest of his life alone.

Greg pushed that thought away as quickly as it coalesced in his mind; he didn't want to think about losing Ryan. This wasn't a time for dark, troubling thoughts; this was a time to revel in the joy of being with the man he loved, to be happy that they were together.

"I've waited all day for this," Ryan whispered as Greg snuggled into his embrace with a happy, contented sigh. "Every time I've looked at you today, I've wanted to wrap my arms around you and kiss you. And then take you to bed and make love to you."

"Yeah?" Greg looked up at him, a smile quirking the corners of his lips. "If you wanted to do that, all you had to do was ask. I'd have dragged you away to the bedroom any time. I didn't know you had love on your mind, or I'd have done it without thinking twice."

"If I'd known that you would be so receptive to the idea, I'd have just picked you up and carried you off to bed!" Ryan told him with a laugh, settling back against the pillows with Greg in his arms. "Seriously, I have a hard time not thinking about sex any time I look at you."

Greg could feel the pink blush rising into his cheeks at Ryan's words; he never knew quite to say when his boyfriend gave him compliments like that. Even though he felt the same about Ryan and said the same kinds of things to him, compliments still felt a little embarrassing.

"Hey, don't be embarrassed," Ryan said softly, bowing his head to brush a gentle kiss across Greg's cheek. "You know I mean every word I say, Greg. You're the most beautiful guy I've ever seen. I can't help thinking naughty thoughts about you."

"I feel the same way about you, y'know," Greg said, feeling a little breathless. Just knowing that Ryan felt so strongly about him made him feel dizzy, as though he was flying through the stratosphere above the clouds, lifted to impossible heights on the wings of Ryan's love.

"Have I told you lately that I love you?" Ryan's voice was soft and husky, the love that he felt for Greg obvious in his tone. Greg was sure that the sound of his lover's voice was going to make him melt into Ryan's arms, becoming nothing but a puddle of goo.

"No, you haven't," he whispered, a lump rising to his throat. "But you don't have to tell me all the time, Ryan. I know how you feel about me. I like hearing the words, but it's not like you need to say them all the time. I can tell what you feel when you smile at me."

"Have I told you lately ...." Ryan started to sing, pulling Greg closer against him and moving strong, warm hands down his back. He broke off, laughing softly and shaking his head. "You know, I love that song, but I can never remember all the words to it."

"Maybe that's because you're a little distracted right now," Greg teased, sliding his own arms around Ryan's waist and bowing his head to press his lips against the sensitive hollow at the base of Ryan's throat. "I know you're distracting me."

"Yeah?" Ryan's tone was somewhere between laughter and a sensual purr. "I'm pretty distracted, but I don't think that's it. I think I just never figured out all the lyrics to the song, and I just remember the most important parts of it. I need to learn the whole thing."

Greg placed his hands on either side of Ryan's body, drawing in a breath and rolling over on top of his boyfriend, looking down at the man he loved. "Am I distracting you now?" he breathed, shifting his hips slightly so that their cocks rubbed against each other.

Ryan closed his eyes, his breath coming out in a shaky sigh. "What do you think?" he asked, his voice throaty, the words coming out on a whisper of breath. Slowly, carefully, he moved one hand down to circle his fingers around the base of Greg's cock.

Greg's eyes closed as Ryan's hand began to move, his fingertips swirling around the sensitive tip of his cock before moving back to the base, tightening around the shaft. Much more of this, and Ryan wouldn't need to make love to him to send him flying towards the stars.

"Have I told you lately that I love you, and that I want you, and that you're everything to me?" Ryan asked, his voice dropping to a sensual, sultry whisper. "I love you, Greg. With my heart, my body, my soul, and everything that's in me. You're my world. My everything."

"I love you, too," Greg managed to answer, his voice only the thread of a whisper, his body tightening in response to Ryan's intimate touch. "I love you with everything that I am, Ryan. You're my whole life. You always will be, until the end of time."

"From now on, I'm going to make sure to tell you that I love you at least a dozen times every day," Ryan murmured, smiling at Greg's reaction to his touch. "I don't want you to be in any doubt about how I feel. Even though I don't think you ever could be."

"I'll agree with that," Greg managed to say before Ryan's lips met his again. He didn't know if he'd told Ryan lately that he loved him -- but he was going to convey that love with his body tonight, as well as with all of his heart and soul.
