Greg glanced up at the clock on the wall of his office, a wry smile crossing his face as he did so. It had been a long time since he'd counted the minutes until he'd be able to punch the clock and go home, he told himself. Things had changed so much for him recently.

Now, after what seemed like a lifetime, he had someone waiting for him at home. Danny was there, impatiently waiting for him to walk in the door.

He had a feeling that the moment he got home, Danny would be all over him, just as he'd been the day before, and the day before that. They had fallen into bed and make love before Danny had to go out to practice, and Greg had fallen asleep feeling sated and loved.

Really, it was a terrific way to start -- or end -- his days.

It was hard to believe that this had all started with one glance, then one scorching hot kiss. He could still remember exactly what this first kiss had felt like; it had seared his very soul, made him want to melt into Danny and leave the world behind.

No one had ever kissed him like that. Their first kiss had been a revelation; he'd never believed that he could feel such passion for anyone. Every other relationship he'd ever been in had faded from his memory; there was only Danny, and the future they could share.

He hadn't expected to fall so deeply, so completely in love. But he had, and now that it had happened, he had no intention of going back to the lonely life he had led before Danny. He wasn't going to look back at that life -- only forward into the life that they would build together.

It wasn't going to be easy; he'd known that from the start. There would be times when Danny had to be on the road with golfing tours; even though he might not be the best player out there, he did well enough to stay in the game, and he wouldn't give it up.

They'd both be lonely at times. But he could deal with that.

All he would have to do was remember that kiss, and he would know that even if they were far apart at the time, Danny was still his. There was no way that they could share a kiss like that and not belong to each other in every possible way.

Hard to believe that this had all started with a kiss -- a kiss that he could swear still tingled on his lips every time he thought about it.

Greg glanced up at the clock again, a smile curving his lips when he realized that he only had five minutes to go until the end of his shift. He couldn't wait to get home to Danny -- and he couldn't wait to indulge in those kisses again and let desire take him over.
