Greg looked over at his boyfriend with a happy smile, feeling peaceful.

They'd had a wonderful first day in Paris, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower and checking out some of the sights. It had been a whirlwind of activity.

But now, they were ambling along the bridge over the Seine, the full moon shining down on them, making the night seem as bright as day. The water rippled along under the bridge, moonlight silvering it, creating one of the most romantic images Greg had ever seen.

Romance. That was part of what Paris was all about, wasn't it? He and Ryan had come thousands of miles to discover that romantic ambiance for themselves.

This was something he'd wanted to do for a long time.

Deliberately slowing his footsteps, he waited until they had both stopped walking, then turned to Ryan with a smile, taking both of his lover's hands in his own.

"This is so beautiful," he whispered, looking around them. "The night, the moonlight on the water, just the whole feeling of being in Paris with the man I love. This is something I've wanted ever since we first met, Ry. Being able to share this kind of beauty with you."

Ryan blinked a few times; Greg could tell that he was holding back tears. "That's one of the most beautiful things anybody's ever said to me," he whispered, his voice husky.

"Get used to hearing it," Greg told him with a soft smile. "Not just when we're in Paris, but all of the time. Because I want to share all the moments of my life with you."

He raised a hand to stroke his fingers through Ryan's hair, just as his boyfriend reached out to wrap strong arms around Greg's waist and pull him close. And the next thing he knew, they were standing there, on the bridge, in full sight of anyone who happened to walk by, kissing.

Greg didn't care who could see them. They were a couple who were in Paris for the first time, and they were in love. Kissing should be expected.

When the kiss ended and he opened his eyes, all he could see was Ryan.

Then he slowly became aware of the moonlight glittering on the water, the stars sprinkling the black velvet of the sky, and the warmth of the spring night.

He wanted to remember this moment forever -- the beauty all around them, the feeling of romance in the air, and most of all, the look of love in Ryan's green eyes as his boyfriend gazed at him, that small smile on Ryan's lips, the love and desire that flowed between them.

"Come on, baby. Let's go back to the hotel," Ryan said, taking his hand. "I've done enough sightseeing for the day. Now I just want to see you. Preferably out of your clothes."

By the time they reached the hotel, both of them were almost running.
