"Nick! Where are you! Come out I have a surprise!" Greg yelled at he entered his pitch dark apartment that he and his long-term boyfriend had shared for 4 years "You need to come out now! I just stopped by that shop we saw on our walk the other day; picked you up a little gift, here's a clue: CHERRY FLAVOURED!"

Greg was waltzing through the large apartment flicking on lights here and there when suddenly he heard what he thought was a smell snigger. He stopped dead.

"Nick?" He said in a small voice as he cautiously entered the living room.

"SURPRISE!" many voices shouted at once! All the lights turned on and all of his friends surrounded him.

"What the fuck!" Greg said aghast.

"Greg honey come over here" Nick stated nervously walking out of the crowd.

Greg swaggered over to his boyfriend and gave him a passionate kiss, Nick obliged by deepening the kiss until many throats needed to be cleared. They stepped back from each other and blushed a little looking at all their friend's faces.

Sara and Grissom, who have been married for the last two years; Catherine and her daughter, Lindsay; Warrick; and also Jim Brass, Hodges, Sophia, Archie, and SuperDave.

"What's all this about?" Greg smiled a little confused at the impromptu gathering.

"Well honey look at me for a minute" Nick said in a whisper.

"What is it Nick, nothings wrong is it" Greg responded still confused.

"I love you so much Greg..."

"I know I love you too babe, what go-"

Nick interrupted Greg, "What I mean to say is that we've gone through a hell of a journey to get where we are now and we're really happy. God I love you, well to the point, We've been through our share of ups and downs and there were times where I wasn't sure that we'd make it. I never want to let you go, I want you to know that and I never will if I can help it. So I gathered our closest friends and family cause I want them all to know how much I love you-"

"Babe what's going on?" Greg said cluelessly and worried at his boyfriends teary eyes.

"Nothing, nothings wrong Greg" Nick slowly went down on one knee.

"Oh my god" He said finally clicking in.

"I love you with all my heart Greg Sanders; I can't even describe to you how much I care for you. Nick, would you make me the happiest bloke in Vegas by marrying me?"

"Holy shit Nick! Of course I'll marry you!" Greg pulled Nick to his feet and then Nick slipped a simple silver band around his finger. It was inlaid with three small emeralds. "But Nick I must say there's no way you could be the happiest bloke in Vegas because you've just made me the happiest bloke the whole fucking world" He laughed out through his tears.

The met in a passionate kiss and there didn't even register the clapping and hoots and hollers around them until they broke apart. Each smiling broadly.

"Alright! Drinks all around! And a toast to the happy couple!" Warrick shouted loudly. The night went on smoothly. By the end they felt like they were congratulated and toasted to about a million times.

When everyone left, Greg pressed Nick up against a wall by their bed room.

"I love you Nick, you've made me so happy." Greg said between kisses up Nick's neck.

"Oh..oh I lo-love you too. And umm, Greg, had you said cherry flavored?" Nick responded huskily.

"Indeed I did" Greg said as he grabbed the small shopping bag he had thrown on the table, and finally they both hurried into their bedroom for some ah, practice for the years to come.
