AN: If you visualise vividly you might want to make sure you've got an empty stomach first. Having done lots of anatomy and pathology I've got a strong stomach, but it might not be to everyone's taste.

That scene will haunt those of us who were there forever. The tension is painted across our faces, obvious in the darting of our eyes, even Grissom's. A whole class of kindergarten kids killed and mutilated. What was worse: The curtain made of their skins? The coloured light shining through their guts strung across the window? The neatly arranged feet, lined up in pairs? I can't say. Our only clue a book of Freudian psychoanalysis.

Even in work, my pain is so severe you risk revealing our secret. I turn to you sobbing, reaching, needing. Wrapping myself in your love.

I realised a little earlier on that the Freudian Psychoanalysis book seems out of place - but there is a section in one that I read ages ago which includes a chapter on the mutual drives to raise your children, but also to kill them. In editing it down to 100 words I lost the words that explained that.
