A/N: This is a sequel to my first story Too Little...Too Late.

Sara got up from what can only be described as 'a crappy nights sleep', she kept waking up because of dreams or rather nightmares she had after her verbal thrashing of Catherine and the complete annihilation of their relationship.  She remembers falling asleep in front of the television after crying her eyes out after hearing Catherine plead for forgiveness and then getting angry and yelling, "If that's what you want, Then Damn you that's what you get," and driving away.

She remembers every last detail of the their argument and with every word she remembers her heart breaks a little bit more, "God what an ass I am...I throw away the best damn thing that ever happend to me and the love of the greatest woman I've ever known and for what... God Damn pride...that's all it was my g. d. pride and insecurities and for what just because some hack criminalist from Jersey thinks his Reverse Forensics can work...ok so it did, my pride reared it's damn head, my anger got the best of me and God what'll I do," Sara then begins to cry again.

Sara realizes she has to make things right with not only Catherine, but Lindsey because she's sure Catherine told her all about the argument, but before she can do that she need to formulate an apology and some of Catherine's favorite white roses and Lindsey's favorite caramel corn.

Sara showers, gets dressed and eats a little breakfast before psyching herself up to get going, along the way she makes the necessary stops for the flowers and caramel corn.

As Sara drives up to Catherine's house she decides to park across the street ,instead of parking in the driveway as is her custom when she is at Catherine's,   "Come on you idiot you screwed this up and now you are going to make this right," Sara says to her reflection in the driver side, viser mirror.

As Sara walks to the house she can see a pair of eyes peering through the curtains, and as she gets to the door it open and she sees Lindsey standing  in the doorway,"Well what the hell do you want...did you come over to spew some more anger at my mother or just to bring the things she left at your place back..."

Lindsey's tirade is interrupted by her mother, "Lindsey Marie Willows I thought I taught you better than to speak....Oh it's you, well let me go get your things and you can go back to your car and get mine."

Sara was nearly brought to tears at the way the Willows women were treating her, but she realized she did deserve everything they gave her and thensome.  Sara got the box of caramel corn and the roses out of her car and headed back towards the house,  as she got back to the house she asked permission to come inside and sit down which was granted.

"Catherine...Lindsey, I know I am the last person you want to see this morning but please let me have my say and then I'll be gone."

"Forever we hope," Lindsey spoke up then shut her mouth quickly after a death glare from her mother,

"Go ahead Sara."

Sara swallowed a lump in her throat the size of a minivan and held back another wave of tears as she began, "God where do I begin, First of all I wish to apologize for  the way I acted last night, I was angry and hurt because I thought as I did when I first came here to Vegas you were questioning my skills as an investigator and that's the reason why you left me out of the loop, only do I realize now after a night of nightmares and tears that you were right Catherine to do what you did, I guess it was my pride and feelings of inadequacy coming back with a vengence and it all came crashing down on the only person that I've ever really truly loved...It was as if I were having an out of body experience watching someone else yelling at you and try as I might my rational side just was too weak to fight this wild beast that was yelling at you..."

Sara tried  her damnedest but couldn't hold back the tears any longer,"OH GOD CATHERINE PLEASE FORGIVE ME...PLEASE LOVE ME AGAIN.... YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT I LOVE YOU AND GOD KNOWS I TRUST ONLY YOU WITH THE MOST PRECIOUS THING I OWN...MY HEART."

As Sara dried her tears she noticed neither Catherine or Lindsey had moved from their seats, so she quietly got up, placed the flowers and caramel corn on the coffee table got up and walked out  the door.

She was halfway down the driveway when the door opened again, "Sara...honey please come back," Catherine then ran to meet her girlfriend and lover, smothering her with kisses and holding on to her as tight as her arms would allow,  with tears streaming down her face she says, "Please Sara no more fights or misunderstandings between us...okay."

"Okay...but I have just one more thing  to say Catherine," Sara says through now what are tears of joy.

"What Sara?"

"I love you Catherine."

"I love you too Sara." and with that the two women walked into the house together arm in arm to take this second chance at love.
