Title: The Tone Dance
Author: Rpgirl
Pairing: Nick/Greg
Rating: G
Summary: Greg and Nick's embarrasing moment comes in the form of a dance.***
Greg shared a look with Nick before laughing.
"We can't do this at work." Greg said, making Nick laugh harder.
"We'd be teased nonstop about it." Nick told Greg.
"It's not that bad." Greg said.
"That's what you think. What about what the others say?"
Greg threw a dirty look in his direction.
"It's not my fault you copied it."
Nick just shook his head going into the lab. Greg stuck his tongue out at Nick's back, before getting out himself.
"Hey guys." Warrick said, "That breather good?"
Nick and Greg both threw Warrick a glare, who put his hands up.
The trio walked to the lounge, where everyone was having lunch. They both sat down, smiling as they handed them their orders.
Everything was fine for the first ten minutes. They were talking, being social, and being completely normal. They even got Grissom to laugh once, which was a difficult thing to do.
"Right, so what's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?" Sara asked, "Mine was when I got caught TPing the wrong house."
"No way! You?" Greg said, "But you're all...for the rules."
Sara threw a look at Greg.
"Mine was probably when I almost got arrested for streaking." Warrick said, "My dad was friends with the officer."
Catherine snorted into her cup of coffee.
"Well mine would probably have to be...when I was a cheerleader, I on top of the pyramid. I had to sneeze really bad, so I took my hand up and sneezed. Knocked all the girls down, and we flashed the whole sophomore class." Catherine said, making the whole table break out in laughs.
"What about you Griss?" Nick asked, as their boss laughed.
"I don't have on--" Grissom stopped when a loud ring sounded.
Greg and Nick looked away from each other, as another ring sounded. With that ring they looked up, as the last ring came they looked at each other, before a loud and obnoxious ring tone started playing. One of their arms was bent, with a fist, in an upward L. The other one was bent downward, with a fist, in a downward L. They bounced and alternated their arms. The alternating happened every second bounce. They both laughed at their stupidity, before Greg answered his phone. Both turned cherry red in the face, as their friends laughed.
Greg hung up the phone, coughing slightly.
"So much for not doing it at work." Nick muttered, as Greg snorted.
"Yeah, that plan was badly planned." Greg replied.
"I don't know, I thought that was cute...stupid, and spastic, but cute all the same." Sara said, as Warrick stopped laughing.
"I think that was the funniest thing I've ever seen you do Nick."
"What about me?" Greg asked.
"Nah...the headdress, the markers, and the air drumming takes care of you Greg. Although that's another thing to add to it."
Nick eyes narrowed.
"C'mon Greg." Nick said, as Grissom coughed.
"You guys do know you aren't allowed to do any activities with your clothes off right?"
"SHUT UP! WE'RE WORKING ON OUR CASE!" Both screamed back, making the other CSI's laugh lightly.
Another peaceful day at the Las Vegas Crime Lab.
