Title: Untitled
By: Caroline Crane
Pairing: Nick/Greg
Rating: R"I'm just saying, it's kind of weird."
"You think everything's weird," Greg said, shrugging when Nick raised an eyebrow at him. "Different strokes."
"So you're saying that you think threesomes are a normal part of a healthy relationship?"
"Nobody said anything about 'healthy'," Greg answered, but he didn't quite manage to stifle his grin this time. "You were in a fraternity, don't tell me you've never tried it."
Nick didn't answer, but Greg had known him long enough to catch the tell-tale signs of heat creeping up his neck. And that was kind of hot, but he had a feeling he wasn't going to get any details. He wasn't even sure how they'd gotten on the subject, because for once their case didn't involve any kinky sex. It was just a B&E gone bad, and there hadn't been any signs of any sex at all at the scene, let alone multiple partners.
"I knew it," Greg said triumphantly, grinning at Nick's expression. "Who was it? Another guy? Two other guys?"
"There's Brass."
"You had a threesome with Brass?"
"No," Nick practically shouted, blushing even harder at the sound of Greg's laughter. "I meant that Brass is waiting over there for us, and we are not having this conversation."
He knew Nick meant it, but he was still laughing when they reached Brass. Which made Brass give him That Look, of course, the one where he knew he was missing something and he wasn't sure he wanted to know what. Greg laughed even harder at that, and when Brass opened his mouth to ask Nick just shook his head.
"You don't want to know. What have you got?"
Brass cast one last glance in Greg's direction before he started rattling off the details of the crime scene, and Greg did his best to wrestle what were some pretty disturbing images under control as he trailed behind them. The details of this B&E matched their first case almost exactly, and it didn't take long before Brass left them to it and headed back outside to start tracking down witnesses.
When they were alone Nick dropped his kit on the floor and opened it, taking his time making sure everything was in order before he stood up and looked at Greg again. Greg who was still grinning, half-hard from picturing Nick and nameless, sweaty frat brothers messing up the sheets together. And he was going to get that story out of Nick if it was the last thing he did, even if it meant threatening never to blow him again.
"Don't say it."
"I didn't say anything," Greg answered, but he'd never been any good at sounding innocent.
"Don't think it, then," Nick said, jaw set in a stern line that Greg knew meant he was serious. But it was Nick, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't pull off the bad cop routine. Not with anyone who actually knew him, anyway. "I'm serious, Greg. We're not talking about this now."
"What, you and Brass? Can we talk about it later, then, because I think that's the kind of thing I should know about. I mean I like him and all, but if we're talking about a threesome..."
He expected Nick to roll his eyes and let out one of those 'you're impossible' sighs. Maybe just give him the silent treatment for awhile, but Greg was used to that. What he didn't expect was for Nick to growl at him, then take hold of his vest and shove him up against the nearest wall. And that was even hotter than the image of Nick and his frat brothers, because Nick was pressed up against him and breathing and when he pushed his thigh between Greg's legs Greg let out a little whimper.
"The only person I want to have sex with is you," Nick said, breathing the words against Greg's mouth and Greg wasn't even sure what he'd said, because he was too busy leaning in to press their lips together. And he wasn't really expecting Nick to kiss him back, because they were still at a crime scene and the uniform Brass had posted outside could come check on them any time. But he did, hands still fisted in the front of Greg's vest and thigh pressing against his cock and…yeah, that was great.
That was perfect, right there, and Greg thrust forward for more, moaning against Nick's mouth and he didn't even care if he came in his pants. Had a feeling that was exactly what Nick had in mind, because he was still rocking against Greg and his tongue was doing things that sent shivers straight down Greg's spine. Then he pulled back with a gasp, face flushed with exertion this time as he looked at Greg. "Understand?"
Greg mumbled something that might have been 'yes', even though he didn't have a clue what the question was. Didn't know and didn't care, because Nick needed to be kissing him again right now. His hands closed around Nick's shirt to pull him forward again, but instead of taking the hint Nick backed off with what Greg would describe later as an evil grin.
"Good. Now get back to work. We've got to process this whole scene before shift ends, and I've got plans later."
And Greg was pretty sure he knew what those plans were, but that didn't make him feel any better. Because now he was hard and distracted and okay, maybe he deserved it a little, but he still had a job to do, and he had no idea how Nick expected him to do it like this.
"You bastard."
Nick just laughed and turned back to his kit, but Greg could see him smirking as he pulled out a pair of gloves. And he was going to get even. Just as soon as his brain started working again.
