You don't smile anymore mummy. I love the way you smile, I hope I look as pretty as you do when I'm older and I smile.

It makes me feel so sad inside, watching you cry softly into your pillow.

I wish there was something I could do to make you feel happy, I really don't want you to be hurting so bad.

I remember the last time you cried like this, for so long. When daddy died. Sara made you smile again and I loved you both so much because you made each other happy all the time.

I know why you're sad now. She's gone, hasn't she? I saw her leave last night and I miss her so much too, but she's only been gone a day.

It's not your fault mummy, but it's not Sara's fault either. You can't help it if you fall out of love with someone, sometimes you start to love a person in different ways. Just like a friend.

Maybe after you've both had time by yourself, maybe she'll come back and remember why she loved you in the first place.
